Purpose and scope

Financial Reporting and Analysis Training aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills related to accounting principles, introduction of financial statements, reporting of financial data of an enterprise / institution / organization / administration using tables and graphs, examination and interpretation of reports.

This training covers the analysis of financial data and financial situation assessment, evaluation of the current financial situation, examination of balance sheet and financial statements, application of financial statement analysis techniques, making financial plans and cash flow forecasts for the future, preparation of financial reports.

Target audience

The target audience of this training is; are those who are involved in the processes related to financial reporting, financial analysis and the creation, use and examination of financial statements and who have duties and responsibilities related to these processes. As well as performing financial analysis and reporting, it is critical to read, understand and use these analyzes and reports correctly.

Trainers

Financial Reporting and Analysis Training is given by trainers who are experienced in financial analysis, who have previously given training in financial analysis and reporting, who know accounting principles, who have mastered financial statements, who are experienced in adult education and hybrid education applications.

Those who have successfully completed the Financial Reporting and Analysis training are expected to;

  • Examine and evaluate reports related to the analysis of financial data.

Delivery and method

This training is applied face-to-face. A group in this training is limited to a maximum of 20 people. However, if conditions arise that prevent face-to-face training, the training may be delivered remotely by using the Me-Learning© online learning platform and the Actio© meeting management tool.

Trainers guides learners through interaction and practice in a way that facilitates learning and improves their practice skills. In the training, conceptual presentations are supported by application examples and participants are provided with financial reporting and analysis applications in their fields of activity.

Learning tools and materials

Training materials consist of presentations and notes on education, supported by case studies in the relevant sections. In Financial Reporting and Analysis training, sample balance sheet, financial statements and financial reports are used as training materials.

Audio visual and multimedia materials, templates, worksheets and other materials for exercises and practices are prepared by the trainer and distributed to the participants. It is required for each participant in the training to have equipment such as a computer, notebook or tablet.

In accordance with our waste reduction policy, printed materials are not distributed in this training unless it is educationally necessary.

Assessment and evaluation

In order to optimize the learning process according to the learners’ needs, the level of readiness of the learners is assessed informally by the trainer at the beginning of the training. The studies carried out by the learners, such as exercises and practices are assessed as indicators of the development / learning and the trainer provides feedback and adjusts learning activities based on them in order to ensure effective learning.

A question sheet is administered  to the participants of the training to determine the level of awareness and knowledge about Financial Reporting and Analysis online or in print before and after the training. In addition, at the end of the training, the Training Evaluation Questionnaire is applied.

All participants who complete the training receive a certificate of participation showing that they have completed the Financial Reporting and Analysis training, with duration of the training clearly stated.
