Purpose and scope

This training aims to provide participants with basic usage knowledge in MS Excel with the skills to effectively use the tools offered by Excel for reporting with formulas and data analysis tools, creating more understandable and secure documents, data analysis and reporting.

Target audience

This training should be taken by those who want to improve all kinds of data processing, data analysis, reporting and presentation skills, and who aim to create documents and perform data analysis in a safe and meaningful way. This training contributes to individual and corporate productivity by developing the skills to perform accurate, safe, effective and time-saving operations in MS Excel.

Trainers

This training is delivered by experts with at least five years of experience in providing advanced MS Excel training, with practical experience in financial recording, summarizing and reporting with MS Excel.

Those who have successfully completed the Advanced MS Excel training are expected to;

  • Understand and apply the basic principles of editing Excel models for decision making.

Delivery and method

This training is applied face-to-face. A group in this training is limited to a maximum of 15 people. This training requires all participants to practice individually under the guidance of the instructor at the computer and to perform case studies. Therefore, the training is carried out in an environment where there is a computer or notebook for each participant.

Learning tools and materials

Advanced MS Excel training is a hands-on training. The trainer meets with the institutions/units of the participants before the training and provides case studies related to MS Excel or creates case studies and organizes them as training materials. In addition, the trainer prepares financial statements, application materials for analysis and reporting for this training and uses them as training materials also.

Audio visual and multimedia materials, templates, worksheets and other materials for exercises and practices (if necessary) are prepared by the trainer and distributed to the participants. It is required for each participant to have equipment such as computer or notebook.

In accordance with our waste reduction policy, printed materials are not distributed in this training unless it is educationally necessary.

Assessment and evaluation

In order to optimize the learning process according to the learners’ needs, the level of readiness of the learners is assessed informally by the trainer at the beginning of the training. The studies carried out by the learners, such as exercises and practices are assessed as indicators of the development / learning and the trainer provides feedback and adjusts learning activities based on them in order to ensure effective learning.

At the end of the training, participants complete the Training Evaluation Questionnaire. All participants who complete the training receive a certificate of attendance showing that they have completed the Advanced MS Excel Training, with the name and duration of the training they have received.
