Purpose and scope
Motivation Techniques Training aims to create an awareness of the factors affecting motivation and motivation in the workplace, to make sense of the internal and extrinsic elements that increase or suppress their own motivation and the motivation of others in the workplace by using the explanations provided by motivation theories, to gain the knowledge and skills that will enable them to explain and use the techniques of developing motivation individually and institutionally.
This training focuses on creating an awareness for the individual to identify the elements of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and creating strategies to ensure the continuity of motivation by recognizing the relationship of the personality styles of others with motivation in their own personality style and work environment.
Target audience
Motivation Techniques Training is a recommended for all employees of private institutions, public institutions and organizations, local governments and non-governmental organizations. This training contributes to the personal and professional development of employees by supporting them to develop a positive approach, gain knowledge and skills so that they can increase their motivation in daily and business life and positively affect the motivation of other people with whom they interact.
Trainers
Motivation Techniques Training is delivered by trainers who are experienced in training practices and/or have studies/research in this field, providing training on topics such as motivation techniques, communication and motivation in the workplace, motivating oneself and others, and institutional capacity building.
Objectives and learning outcomes
Those who have successfully completed the Motivation Techniques Training are expected to;
- Explain the concept of motivation,
- Interpret and discuss the psychological theories behind employee motivation,
- Identify intrinsic and extrinsic factors for self-motivation and develop awareness about them,
- Apply effective personnel motivation methods to increase their own motivation and the motivation of others,
- Develop strategies for more effective team motivation by taking into account different personality types,
- Establish clear and defined goals as part of the motivation process,
- Identify the factors that suppress workplace motivation and develop ideas on how to address them.

Delivery and method
Motivation Techniques Training is applied in the form of face-to-face training. It is recommended to have no more than 20 people in each group to ensure active participation and effective learning in this training. However, if conditions arise that prevent face-to-face training, the training may be delivered remotely by using the Me-Learning© online learning platform and the Actio© meeting management tool.
The trainer guides learners through interaction, group work, role play, case studies and activities in a way that facilitates learning and develops practical skills. Experience-based applied studies are carried out on examples from the real work environment so that learners can experience the skills of identifying motivational elements and creating strategies to improve motivation.
Learning tools and materials
In Motivation Techniques Training, a presentation enriched with multimedia content and visuals is used as teaching material. In addition, case studies, worksheets and practices that will support the objectives such as recognizing personality types and the relationship of personality types with motivation, using motivation strategies in appropriate conditions and contexts, creating strategies for developing self-motivation are used as learning materials.
Audio visual and multimedia materials, worksheets and other materials for exercises and practices are prepared by the trainer and distributed to the participants. However, if there is a sufficient number of hardware such as computers, notebooks or tablets in the learning environment, all materials are provided in a digital format and studies are carried out in digital context.
In accordance with our waste reduction policy, printed materials are not distributed in this training unless it is educationally necessary.
Assessment and evaluation
In order to optimize the learning process according to the learners’ needs, the level of readiness of the learners is assessed informally by the trainer at the beginning of the training. The studies carried out by the learners, such as exercises and practices are assessed as indicators of the development / learning and the trainer provides feedback and adjusts learning activities based on them in order to ensure effective learning. In addition, at the end of the training, the Training Evaluation Questionnaire is applied.
All participants who complete the training receive a certificate of participation showing that they have completed the Motivation Techniques Training, with duration of the training clearly stated.
