Purpose and scope

Teamwork and Strategic Team Leadership Training aims to improve managers’ knowledge and skills to form high-performance working groups, transform working groups into result-oriented teams, improve the performance of teams, optimize business processes and work design for teams to work effectively, ensure that individuals with different competencies and styles in teams work in a way that complements each other, and identify and overcome blockages in teamwork.

Target audience

Teamwork and Strategic Team Leadership Training is especially recommended for staff and managers who manage or will potentially manage team building and expert teams for specialized tasks.

Trainers

Teamwork and Strategic Team Leadership Training is delivered by trainers who are experienced in teamwork and team leadership capacity development, who have experience in training and / or who have studies / research in this field.

Objectives and learning outcomes

Those who have successfully completed the Teamwork and Strategic Team Leadership Training are expected to;

Delivery and method

Teamwork and Strategic Team Leadership Training is applied in the form of face-to-face training. It is recommended to have no more than 20 people in each group to ensure active participation and effective learning in this training. However, if conditions arise that prevent face-to-face training, the training may be delivered remotely by using the Me-Learning© online learning platform and the Actio© meeting management tool.

The trainer guides the learners to realize and develop competence and potential in their own teamwork and team leadership through interactions and practices in a way that facilitates learning and improves their practical skills. In order for the participants to practice and develop skills in teamwork and team leadership, practices such as role play, working on scenarios, group work, practicing and working on cases are carried out.

Learning tools and materials

In Teamwork and Strategic Team Leadership Training, along with the presentation, case studies, worksheets and other teaching and learning materials are used to develop the skills of team building and developing the team, optimizing business processes and business design, increasing the motivation of the team, using appropriate strategies to improve team performance.

Audio visual and multimedia materials, templates, worksheets and other materials for exercises and practices are prepared by the trainer and distributed to the participants. However, if there is a sufficient number of hardware such as computers, notebooks or tablets in the learning environment, all materials are provided in a digital format and studies are carried out in digital context.

In accordance with our waste reduction policy, printed materials are not distributed in this training unless it is educationally necessary.

Assessment and evaluation

In order to optimize the learning process according to the learners’ needs, the level of readiness of the learners is assessed informally by the trainer at the beginning of the training. The studies carried out by the learners, such as exercises and practices are assessed as indicators of the development / learning and the trainer provides feedback and adjusts learning activities based on them in order to ensure effective learning. In addition, at the end of the training, the Training Evaluation Questionnaire is applied.

All participants who complete the training receive a certificate of participation showing that they have completed the Teamwork and Strategic Team Leadership Training, and the name and duration of the training they have received is clearly stated.
