Purpose and scope
Effective Communication and Presentation Skills Training aims to provide employees with the knowledge and skills to build relationships and build trust by using effective communication techniques, to develop and use verbal and non-verbal communication skills effectively, to prepare interesting presentations and to make presentations.
Target audience
Effective Communication and Presentation Skills Training is a recommended for all employees of private institutions, public institutions and organizations, local governments and non-governmental organizations.
Effective communication and presentation skills are critical to succeeding in everyday life and business. This Training supports individuals to be able to connect quickly and easily with other people and use appropriate techniques to present their ideas in a clear and understandable way. This Training helps employees discover their own communication style and develop awareness of how to determine the communication preferences of others.
Trainers
Effective Communication and Presentation Skills Training is delivered by trainers who are experienced in providing effective communication and presentation skills training and institutional capacity building activities in this regard and/or who stand out with their studies/research on these subjects.
Objectives and learning outcomes
Those who successfully complete the Effective Communication and Presentation Skills Training are expected to;
- Determine a purpose of communication and communicates by focusing on a clear purpose,
- Create an open and sincere communication channel,
- Plan presentations based on the analysis of the audience to be presented
- Apply verbal skills to gather and maintain interest,
- Apply critical listening and active listening skills, respond to questions with confidence,
- Develop awareness of how effectively non-verbal messages are transmitted,
- Develop written communication skills using notes, e-mails and reports,
- Use mind maps to design presentations,
- Appropriately use the tone of voice, articulation, pitch and volume in speech,
- Design and use appropriate visual aids to support presentations,
- Evaluate her/his own presentation.

Delivery and method
Effective Communication and Presentation Skills Training is applied in the form of face-to-face training. It is recommended to have no more than 20 people in each group to ensure active participation and effective learning in this training. However, if conditions arise that prevent face-to-face training, the training may be delivered remotely by using the Me-Learning© online learning platform and the Actio© meeting management tool.
Trainers guide learners through interaction, group work, role play, case studies, and practices in a way that facilitates learning and improves practice skills. Experience-based applied studies are carried out on examples from real business life so that learners can experience skills such as setting goals in communication, written and oral presentation, preparing and making presentations for effective communication and presentation, effective listening, and using body language.
Training tools and materials
In Effective Communication and Presentation Skills Training, a presentation enriched with multimedia contents and visuals is used as teaching material. In addition, teaching materials such as scenarios, case studies, worksheets, etc. are used to practice and exercise in planning a presentation, critical listening and active listening, creating effective written communication examples, creating mind maps, speaking effectively, using visuals effectively and evaluating presentations.
Audio visual and multimedia materials to be used in the training, templates, worksheets and other materials for exercises and practices are prepared by the trainer and distributed to the participants. However, if there is a sufficient number of hardware such as computers, notebooks or tablets in the learning environment, all materials are provided in a digital format and studies are carried out in digital context.
In accordance with our waste reduction policy, printed materials are not distributed in this training unless it is educationally necessary.
Assessment and evaluation
In order to optimize the learning process according to the learners’ needs, the level of readiness of the learners is assessed informally by the trainer at the beginning of the training. The studies carried out by the learners, such as exercises and practices are assessed as indicators of the development / learning and the trainer provides feedback and adjusts learning activities based on them in order to ensure effective learning. In addition, at the end of the training, the Training Evaluation Questionnaire is applied.
All participants who complete the training receive a certificate of attendance showing that they have completed the Effective Communication and Presentation Skills Training, with duration of the training clearly stated.
